PACK SHOTS

Product Photography is sometimes referred to as 'Pack Shots' but the two terms mean photography of an item be it for sale or demonstration purpose.   

We at stormstudios have been shooting products for over ten years and our Customers come form many different industry and business sectors from Fashion Designers to IT Hardware Manufactures.

Pricing 

This varies depending on the following factors; Quantity, Size of the item, number of angles / perspectives, Print Ready, Web Ready and Clipping Paths.  As an guide a single item can cost up to a max £120+VAT, 20+ items will cost £10+VAT.

Quality

The more items you have photographed the lower the unit cost.  For example if you were to bring in just one item the time taken to set up would be the same as if we were shooting 10 items resulting in a greater cost for a single item.

 

Size: 

Depending on the overall size of your item we have two studios for shooting products.  Items that are smaller than .5 Mt/Sq can be shot in our smaller studio, larger items will require the main studio, charge out rates differ between the two.

 



Angles:  

On occasions you will require more than one side of

 your item to be photographer, if your product has specific details on several sides we would encourage you to have them captured.  The number of elevations you require increases the price.

 

Print/ Web: 

Images need to be correctly re-sized and calibrated according to their usage.  Web images must be small in file size to ensure a fast if not instant download when being viewed.  Smaller files sizes mean less quality, but there are specialist techniques and software which ensures that data retained is the most relevant ensuring no or little loss of image quality.
